Personal Statement

My name is Annika Norquist. I'm a 2025 catcher and 1st baseman. I go to Los Gatos High School and play softball for the NorCal Legends. My club softball team, the NorCal Legends 18u-Escarcega/Espinoza attended Alliance Nationals in 2021, PGF in 2022, and came in 6th place at Alliance Tier 2 Nationals in 2023. I have a 3.85 GPA and I hope to attend a 4-year college and play softball while pursuing a degree in liberal arts, specifically education, psychology, or English. During my high school season, I received a 1st Team All-League Award as well as the Los Gatos High School Softball Defensive Player of the Year Award. This year, I created a podcast with my friend as a way to create a bigger sense of community in our school/town and so far, it has been a very rewarding experience.
