Beatriz Galvez '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Beatriz Galvez, I live in Los Angeles California. I am a 2023 speedy middle infielder. I stand 5’1’’ tall at 125 lbs. I am entering my Junior year at John Glenn High School in Norwalk, California where I am a starting middle infielder on the Varsity softball team. Academically I am a good student with a 3.7 GPA. I play travel softball with the Wildcats organization under the direction of Coach Ralph Del Campo and Coach Gary Berouty.

Although my primary position is shortstop, I work hard at maintaining my training as a Utility player by continuing to expand my athleticism and showcase my versatility at positions like 2nd, 3B and OF. Defensively, I have a wide range with great communication, great footwork, glove-work and a strong arm. I also have a strong offensive bat which is an asset in generating runs. I can be a great asset to a collegiate program with my versatility and athleticism as a player, both defensively and offensively. I am hard working, a team player and always willing to give it my best.
