Alexis Lacy '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexis (Lexi) Lacy and I am currently a 16 year old Junior at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California.  My immediate goals are to continue playing softball in high school and on my travel ball team So Cal Athletics McCarthy 18U while succeeding both in and out of the classroom. I currently have a 4.0 and have earned the honors of a "Scholar Athlete" every semester at  Orange Lutheran High School. I intend to continue to work hard and maintain these standards. I always put in the extra work on everything I do and I treat my family, teachers, classmates, coaches, and teammates with the utmost respect at all times.  I pride myself on being a team player and leader through my dedication to this wonderful sport of softball and it shows with me keeping up on my weekly pitching and hitting lessons and always being on time in all that I do. 

My college goals and aspirations are to continue to succeed both on the field and in the classroom, play softball and live life in a very positive way, by helping others and being a positive role model to all. Some of my qualities that make me a good candidate for a college softball position and scholarship are that I am a hard worker, have a good attitude, I have straight A's, I am a great left-handed pitcher, outfielder, hitter and slapper,  and I am a team player.  What makes me different from other players is that I do not like missing school, I love to help others, I maintain really good grades, and when I have days off, I go to fielding, hitting, and pitching lessons. I work hard in all areas and it shows in my commitment on the field and in the classroom. 

I have been preparing all my life to play softball in college because I truly love the game of softball. I've been watching high school and college softball games both on TV and in person since I was 8 years old and have enjoyed playing this game since I was 6.  Softball is in my blood and I want to continue to play at the next level.
