Hi coaches, my name is Miya Fujimoto and I am a 2025 SS/CF with a 4.2 GPA who loves to play the game. My passion for softball has stuck with me throughout the 10 years I have been playing. Softball has taught me how to be resilient and hardworking. I have learned that if I want to succeed and achieve my goals, I have to work really hard for them. And throughout the journey, it will not be easy and there will be obstacles along the way, but I learned to be resilient and find a way around the bumps rather than letting them control me. The lesson I have learned not only applies to softball itself but to life as well has allowed me to become the best version of myself that I could be. Not all of my success and happiness comes from softball though, in my eyes, in order to be successful that also means to succeed academically. I greatly value school as much as softball and could not tell anyone what means more to me. My favorite subject in school and a topic I hope to major in is chemistry.
