Personal Statement
My name is Damita Jade Cabezud and I have been playing softball/baseball since I started with biddy sports Tball when I was 4. I played on coed teams until I was 9 and then switched to softball. I absolutely love playing first base but i am just as confident at outfield and 3rd base. I am very laid back and soft spoken but I work hard and give everything. I give 150%. During games I am extremely focused but like to have fun as well. I keep my teammates in the game with positive reinforcement and a good sense of humor. Sports is an important part of my life and it helps me with my academics. Competing at a collegiate level will be exciting because it's at a faster pace and I would be playing with skilled players. As of 03/23/14 I have been accepted to both UC Davis and UCLA, still waiting to hear from UC Berkeley.
