Personal Statement

I hated softball at first. It was a sport that I never knew about and I had only heard about it from friends. I tried out for the team on a whim when I was younger, however as I grew to play I began to love the sport. Watching videos of it on film and learning the sport made my interest in it grow. I'm dedicated. What I lack in refinement of skills I make up for with drive. I talk to coach's for extra help before and after practice to continue to better myself. Knowing I didn't play club softball put me back, however I believe my skills are on par with those who do. Overall my dedication and wiling to learn makes me different.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. I took Honors Chemistry, I passed with a C in that class. Overall I went in multiple times during lunch to receive extra help within the subject. This class showed the important asking questions and overall understanding is.

Are you in AP/IB classes?

Yes. Yes, I took AP US History as well as AP English III. I passed both classes and passed the AP Test for AP US History as well. Scoring a 3 on the AP exam.

Awards and Activities

ActivitiesI wasn't involved in a NCAA Eligibity conference, however I did take Administration of Justice which was a dual enrolled class. Teaching police codes and the justice system. The overall program also allowed me to be CPR Certified as well as a Mandated Reporter. I was also enrolled in a tutoring program.
