Personal Statement
I have been playing sports my whole life. I started gymnastics when I was just two years old and competed at a high level until the age of 12. At the age of 10 I started playing softball and I started playing volleyball at the age of 11. I seem to pick up sports very fast and I attribute that to the 10 years of being a gymnast.
Ever since I began playing sports, playing at the collegiate level was a very big goal of mine and I aspire to achieve that goal. Playing in college could really change my world on and off the field.
I try to enjoy my time on the field by encouraging my teammates and doing the best I can every game and practice. I strive to learn new things about the game and work my hardest so hopefully I can get what I want out of the game, in this case to play at the collegiate level.
At school, I am as hardworking as I am on the field and maintain a very high GPA. I am currently taking three AP classes, Honors math, and I have been involved in my school’s yearbook class for three years now.
I want to attend a college where I can play softball competitively and where I can earn the education for my future. I am open to all of my options and want the most competitive college I can find. I hope I can inspire people who look up to me as a role model and make my family proud.
