Softball has been one of the best sports I have played in my entire life. When I was around age 3-4 I was playing t-ball and I played baseball until about 9. I stopped but still had family night softball that I would practice throwing every once in a while. I then started back to playing softball at 12. It really didn't start becoming a passion till last year(2019). I was going through a rough time with getting some playing time during the beginning of our varsity season. Overall I was feeling down, I wasn't sure how to deal with it. First thing I did was talk to my coach. Eventually, I was getting some playing time, my whole attitude and perspective changed from there. It took one bad fall for me to have a turning point and get back up on my feet with a new perspective. I am now more encouraging and have a better attitude towards the game and criticism from coaches. I respect the coaches decisions more and also do my best wherever he decides to put me for a position. I work hard, strong and above my best ability. Thank you for reading this.
