Hello,
Softball is my passion. I enjoy the training, discipline, and dedication it requires to perform at my fullest potential. Since I was a little girl watching college softball on TV I dreamed of playing for a competitive team one day. Here we are now in my recruiting year and I couldn't not be happier to know all my tears, sweat, extra hours on the field after a game, practices and on my days off will payoff. I spend alot of time improving on the fundamentals and focusing on every detail of the game. My ultimate goal is to earn my degree while playing Softball at the highest level.
My name is Meah Almaraz. I am 16 years old, and live in Southern California. I play Softball for Cal Cruisers Watson 16U Premier. I am a left handed power hitting 1st baseman and I also play outfield. I'm the starting 1st baseman on the Varsity Softball team at San Dimas High School started as a Freshman with 11 Seniors, we went undefeated and played upto round 3 of CIF, second year in Varsity 2018/2019 I started as the 1st baseman and was batted 4th. I had a rough patch at the end of the season because I changed hitting coaches which was a bad idea, but we are back on track and excited to see what this travel and high school season will be like. This journey has been very exciting. My priority is to continue to work to improve my game as well as maintaining a high GPA currently a 4.0. I also play Varsity Volleyball for my high school.
I am a team leader who motivates others and believe my athletic ability, strong work ethic, positive character, and overall team spirit will be a great asset to your Softball program.
