I've been playing softball for 8 years. Currently, I play for Jeff Blanco's 16u Gold team. My primary position is 3B, but this past year my coach has been training me to become a Utility infielder as well. I love playing different positions because it not ony helps me become more technical, but it teaches me the various aspects regarding the strategies of softball.
In my spare time (which we know isn't much between school and softball), I teach softball lessons to girls 8-18 yrs. I am an Assistant coach for Morgan Stuart's Defensive Lessons and assist her with running lessons with a group of 8-10 girls. On Fridays, I teach my own fielding lessons for 8u and 10u girls. I will be starting a class as an Assistant Instructor for Gary Mullican (15 yr Men's Fastpitch Team USA Coach) teaching catching lessons. I love playing softball, but teaching others to play instills a passion of the game and the ability of help others grown and become better players. My collegiate goals are to attend a University with an established English/Psychology Department and a softball program that allows me to grow as a player and has coaches that will allow me to assist the team as needed.
My hobbies are reading, creative writing, drawing and music.
