Kaitlyn Le '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaitlyn Le, class of 2024. I am currently a pitcher with SoCal Athletics-Gumataotao. My first exposure to pitching was from a group pitching clinic through a girls’ athletic league when I was ten years old and I have not looked back.  With many years of playing softball, especially as a pitcher, I have learned many things about myself which has made me who I am today: hard-working, coachable, persistent, and a team player. As a pitcher, I have pushed myself to practice harder to have a lot of ball movement and to pitch smarter with a variety of pitches. I am a dynamic pitcher and very coachable; I am always seeking feedback from coaches to continue to improve my skills. I am a team player and blessed to be able to play such a great sport.

Besides softball, I am equally passionate about my academics. I plan to major in psychology, with the goal of perhaps being a counselor, therapist, educator or psychologist. I have always enjoyed working with people, especially children. I have been a team counselor for a children’s summer bible program and learned a lot.  I am currently taking two AP classes and planning to take on more challenging classes in my senior year.

As a class of 2024, I am looking for a college that will support me in my endeavors, academically and as an athlete. I am highly motivated to be the best I can be in my classes and on the mound/field. I have been successful in my academics and in softball as I can time manage, prioritize and juggle multiple schedules and there is no doubt that I can be an asset to your school as a student-athlete.
