Emily Harms '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Emily Harms, I'm a senior at Santa Cruz High in Santa Cruz, CA. I have played Varsity Softball all four years and was awarded First Team All-County for infield my Junior year and was voted team captain by my teammates. I absolutely love playing softball and to be able to continue playing softball in college would be a great honor.

While playing in college I look forward to fine tuning my skills to become the best player I can be. I believe I'm a good candidate because I put 100% effort into everything I am practicing or working on. I am always willing to put in extra work, whether that means staying after practice for drills, getting more swings in, or working on softball in my own time. I am a positive and upbeat player and continually cheer for and encourage my teammates. During games I don’t let mistakes and errors get in the way of game at hand.  I go into games with a winning mindset and keep it with me throughout the entire game, no matter the situation. I am fast, strong, and willing and able to play wherever I am needed. I've been switched to several different infield positions on my school team due to team necessity and have enjoyed all of them. I have fun while playing, but always keep a competitive attitude.
