My name is Adia Shaw, I am a 15 year old junior from Stockton, California attending Aspire Langston Hughes Academy. I play travel ball for Batbusters Gomes organization where I primarily play 3B. For my first prep season last year, I earned All-League First Team honors as a freshman where I mainly played 2B and also had one of the best batting averages throughout the league. This season, I once again earned First Team Honors as well as the Team MVP award for my work at shortstop and pitcher.
I am currently deciding between majoring in Animation, Engineering, Architecture, or Criminal Justice. My high school offers college courses, and by the time I enroll in college, I hope to have some of my general education requirements already complete.
I am deciding between careers in animating for the entertainment industry, designing childrens’ toys, designing buildings, or to be a firefighter.
I hope you will consider me as the next scholar athlete for your school.
