Hello, my name is Ivy Butler and my strongest passion has been Softball for as long as I can remember. I envision my college years as a period in my life to excel as the natural leader that I am on the diamond and in the classroom. I am very self-driven and work hard for the amazing opportunities that I have earned and will continue to. I strive to have a successful future and a leave a positive unforgettable impact on anywhere my presence goes. My love for softball was devoted more than ever once I was surrounded by motivating coaches, teammates and family. The supportive impact of my peers boosted my coincidence making me trust myself and my abilities as the strong-willed athlete I am today. I believe me present on the diamond is the best version of myself possible.
My academics are very important to me, I seek to improve my grades every semester and soak up any learning opportunities available to me. I feel it is important to be just as dedicated academically as you are as an athlete. I have a passion in writing, arts, health and physics, which is why I plan on studying and majoring in Journalism or Sports Medicine. These two subjects can help me obtain a career after college doing the things I most love to do.
Overall as a Student-Athlete I shine and have a determined mindset in any problem that crosses my path of success. I am a firm believer in never settling or quitting and will achieve my goals under any circumstances. I hope my brief Personal Statement has specified what characteristics I have to be an amazing asset to a College Softball Roster, Thank you.
