My name is Danielle Bishop. I am a sophomore, graduating in 2025 at Moorpark College. Throughout my entire life, my family has been my number one support, without them I would not be where I am today. With being committed to softball and my family, I am also committed to my academics. As a multi-sport athlete I have managed to keep my GPA above 3.7 and this year I want to keep that trend going. Throughout my academic career, I’ve tried to push myself by taking demanding Honors and AP classes. This year I plan on starting college strong while keeping my grades up while being a dual sport athlete in softball and volleyball at Moorpark College.
Even though academics are important it is not my passion. My passion is living a healthy and active lifestyle. If I am not in the gym, then I am either at the softball field or on the volleyball court. I have participated in many sports over my life such as gymnastics, volleyball, soccer, and of course softball. I participated in competitive gymnastics for four years, in that period I went from level four to training for Excel platinum which equals level seven. I also played volleyball all four years in high school along with 2 club volleyball seasons. Playing all of those sports was so much fun but, nothing compares to softball, I have played softball ever since I’ve known how to walk. Currently, I prefer to play shortstop & I am a utility position player for my travel ball team. For high school softball, I played JV and Varsity, my freshman year and I have been a starter on Varsity my sophomore, junior year, and senior year. As I mentioned I prefer shortstop but I was also needed as a pitcher for my high school team. I played travel softball with Case Batbusters and Bownet. I am currently applying to colleges and hoping to get the opportunity to go through the recruiting process. I would love to join the family and contribute to the success of your college softball team. Thank you for taking time out of your day to look at my NCSA profile as I have updated my stats. Thank you!
