I just recently switched teams and now play for the Grapettes 18 Gold, jersey #5. I am super excited to play with my new teammates and can't wait for the season to start. I can play all outfield positions as well as second base. I am a lefty slapper that plays with a lot of speed and finesse. One interesting fact about me is when I was in the 3rd grade, I was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. Yes, I battled cancer and survived. I missed over a year and a half of softball. I am not sharing this information with you to gain sympathy, but to tell you I am a survivor. I understand what it is like to be dealt with a situation, develop a game plan and execute it. This experience taught me how to be resilient, to recognize my strengths and to appreciate the game even more. These characteristics are what tells me that I am going to be a fantastic student - athlete and would love the opportunity to be recruited by your program.
