“ My name is Ella Schmidt and I am a 2025 junior at Contra Costa Christian School. I have been passionate about softball since I was seven years old, playing with the Pleasant Hill Baseball Association (PHBA). My versatility on the field allows me to excel in any position, with a particular focus on pitching and first base.
As a multi-sport athlete, I compete in sports year-round including volleyball, basketball, and soccer in their primary highschool seasons, consistently performing at the varsity level across all these sports. I am an active member of my school's student council, serving as the Spiritual Chair, where I strive to foster a supportive and positive environment for my peers in a Christ like community.
I am known for my high athletic IQ, which translates to strategic thinking and quick decision-making both on the softball field and on the court. My coaches and teammates have described me as supportive, kind and competitive, fun, natural leader. I take pride in my ability to motivate and inspire those around me, both in sports and in the classroom.
I am excited to bring my skills, dedication, and leadership to the next level and contribute to a collegiate athletic program.”
