Haley Vanlaar '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking student and athlete. Ever since I have started playing travel ball and attending college clinics, my dream has been to get a scholarship to play softball in college. I want to be able to compete on the biggest stage for this sport. I enjoy the team fellowship sharing in one common goal: to win. 

People would describe me a committed and dedicated athlete that has an intense drive to be better than the day before.  I work hard both on the field and in the classroom. My long term goal is to graduate from a great college and eventually excel in my career as a sports agent. The positions I play are middle infield and outfield. 

I wish to play for a college where I can get a solid education and have a fun time playing softball and representing the school I will be attending. Whenever a coach tells me to work on something, I take no hesitation to put in work to get it right. I hope to become a player that others can look up to and hope to make my parents proud.
