Ashley Thurman '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2023 Catcher/Shortstop from Willows, CA. I attend Willows High School where I have been on the varsity softball team since my freshman year and where I am an honor student. My goal is to play softball at a collegiate level while obtaining a degree in kinesiology. I have played softball since the age of seven and began travel ball at the age of nine. Athletics, especially softball, has taught me the value of hard work and dedication. My parents and the coaches I have been fortunate enough to play for have all instilled in me the importance of a good work ethic and commitment to do the best I possibly can on and off the field. Academics are also very important to me, school is something I enjoy both the academic side along with the social aspect of school. I am lucky to have a very close knit family, we spend a lot of time together, especially my twin sister Emily and I.
