Hailey Edgington '22 Recruiting Profile

I love softball and have been playing since I was 10 years old. The first time I played I loved it and knew it was my sport. I have played many positions over the last 7 years, including first base, second base, third base and catcher. I am currently the starting catcher for my high school varsity team. I believe I would be a great addition to your team because I love the game and understand it and it is not only fun, but it is my passion. I get along well with teammates and always encourage others around me. I know that to be a student athlete you have to be hardworking, dependable, and self motivated. I am good at managing my time and always put in my best work no matter what I am doing. I know college athletics will be much more competitive and demanding and I know academics will be too and I am really excited for it all and  I know with my work ethic and drive I can be a positive attribute to the team.
