Brianna Salazar '21 Recruiting Profile

I have never been the type of person who gets things handed to them, or who hasn't had to work for every thing I've ever truly wanted.  I'm glad because I feel it sets me apart from other people in my life and has helped me grow so much as a person.  I have so many goals I want to achieve in my life and I won't stop working until I've reached all of them.  I will always pride myself in that I know I am a hard worker.  Both athletically and academically.  I pour my blood, sweat and tears into every task I'm given and I don't stop until I have completed them successfully.  Softball has taught me so much more than just the fundamentals.  It's the place I go to get away from everything else.  People like to say it's a hobby.  I say it's a passion. It's home to me.  Because of softball, I am able to stay driven, to put my mind to anything I choose or need to accomplish. Through softball, my personal goals are to play until I'm no longer physically able to play another game. To always help my team face, defeat and conquer all other teams. To never give up and never take "No" for an answer.  Softball is more than my end goal. It is my journey.
