I am aspiring to eventually become a psychiatric nurse practitioner, that being said helping others comes second-nature to me. My parents are not hard on me about my grades because they don't have to be; I hold expectations of myself that I know I need to follow in order to succeed. I've been in a sport since the day I could walk, so my need to compete and thrive as an athlete is great. I have learned more than words could ever explain through this incredible sport. One thing that I know for a fact is that I would not be where I am today without softball.
Through my family I have learned what it takes to be a strong individual. My mother has shown me the values needed to be successful in life as well as athletics. Having four younger sisters I've acquired an almost motherly leadership quality as well as an ability to understand and keep an open mind. I can achieve anything I set my mind to and that is exactly why I would be an asset to your school.
