I first knew I wanted to play softball at a higher level when I started playing Travel Ball this past summer. I loved having that higher level of competition and playing with girls who were just as competitive. But I knew I loved softball the second I stepped on that field in 4th grade, just playing for fun. That fun soon turned into passion and love for the game which I carry with me every time I play. I knew from then on, I really wanted to play at the college level. I succeeded in my first travel ball season and worked very hard at every tournament no matter how many game I had in a day, giving every game my all. And every time I step on the field, I am reminded of the little girl who fell in love with the game, and would give it her all back in double-A, and so I give it my all every time I step out on that field.
I have always enjoyed playing softball and I work hard to get better every spare second I have. I always listen to what my coaches and mentors have to say to me so I can learn and make myself a better player and person. Many of my coaches will tell you I am one of the hardest working girls theyve ever met, and I want to keep being this hardworking, on and off the field. One thing that separates me from most players is my hard work ethic, many coaches love having me on their team because I'll always volunteer to help with equipment, always be the first one at practice and most times being early to practice, always volunteer to go first in a drill, and will work the hardest out of everyone, at practice or in a game. My work ethic and willingness to learn are two things I really pride myself on, whether it's in the classroom, or on the field.
