I began playing softball when I was eight years old and haven't stopped since. I fell in love with the game the first time I stepped onto the field. Each year I work extremely hard to better myself for both me and my teammates. I always looked up to the older girls I played with and worked with them continuously to improve my skills. This really helped me to become a varsity starter at second and third base during my freshman year. Then moving into my sophomore season, I was given the opportunity to start at shortstop every game. We were ranked the first-place team in the state for Class S. We also won our CRAL championship game for the season.
I hope to be on a team that feels like a family. All my years playing soccer and softball my teams have always been really close. Having a close bond with all of my teammates has always been important to me. A goal of mine is to make an impact on those around me and be a positive role model. Whether it's a practice or a game I give it my all. I am willing to play anywhere on the field and have had experience with every position. I am very passionate about softball and I would love for the opportunity to keep playing.
