Isabella Saracco '23 Recruiting Profile

I began playing softball at eight years old along with basketball and soccer.  I immediately fell in love with sports.  My father has been a big part of my training and becoming a disciplined player.  My father and mother always encouraged me to work hard and by working hard you will obtain the rewards.  My academics are just as important to me as my sports.  I strive day after day to do my best, whether its studying for an exam or adjusting my swing .  My family is very important to me, this includes my sports families.  I have always treated my teammates as family, I believe a team is a family, you work together and create relationships that last forever.  I am always encouraged to give one hundred percent to what ever I commit to. I currently play High School field hockey, softball and indoor track, as a freshman I played on varsity for both field hockey and track never playing either sport prior to my freshman year.  I did not have the opportunity to play high school softball freshman year because of COVID-19, although I continued to play and train with my 16u team throughout the year.  I am currently on an 18u team and continue to train and practice all year round. I have built many relationships with all my coaches and trainers and always respect them and their advice.  In college, my goals are to graduate with a successful GPA and strive to be the best athlete I can be.
