Hi! My name is Angelina Vartuli, and I am currently a senior at Middletown High School, in Middletown, Connecticut. My primary position is pitcher, but I can also play outfield. I have a screwball, a drop curve, a dropball, a flip change-up, a circle change-up, a riseball, and I am developing my curveball. I have played softball for many years, and have always loved the game since I was a kid.
About a year ago, I met my pitching coach, who has really helped me take pitching to the next level. He guided me to find the mechanics that work best for me, and over the years time, I have thrown many pitches every single day to improve my pitching and the spin I can put on the ball. My passion for the game continues to grow, motivating me every day to keep striving for perfection, so I can perform my best during games.
I have played on multiple teams with many different people over the years, which has helped me develop qualities of leadership, positivity, and an understanding of the value of working as a team. I am also a coachable player, who gives 120% in all my work in softball, and at school to keep my grades high. I am one of the hardest-working, most committed, and extremely passionate softball players you will ever meet.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and look at my profile. I am looking forward to achieving my dream of playing in college and hearing back from you!
