January 2020Throughout my life I’ve been involved in competitive sports including soccer, basketball and softball. Softball has taught me to stay positive no matter what the circumstances and become a great leader. I understand the value of dedication, accountability, and perseverance. I have been influenced by hearing about my parents' collegiate experiences at UConn and Bryant University. I have also been impacted by hearing about my grandfather's professional league experience with the Mets.
As an honors student and three sport varsity athlete, I have learned how to successfully juggle multiple tasks while performing at a high-level. As a player, I would bring a high level of intensity, knowledge of the game and dedication to the team along with the ability to play multiple positions. As an offensive player, I can bring power to the batting lineup and drive in runs as well as move runners with a bunt, sacrifice fly, or single when needed.
My ultimate life goal is to pursue a career in the health science or chemistry field. The skills that I’ve learned through softball will serve me well as I move forward toward these goals. I would prefer to play at a competitive division one or division two level in the Northeastern area.
