My name is Savannah Laird. I'm currently a 10th grader at Delaware Military Academy. I made the varsity softball team last season as a freshman before our season was stopped. It's always been a goal of mine to play college softball since I was little. I've also always taken my academics seriously. In 7th grade at Red Lion Christian Academy I was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. In my 9th grade year at Delaware Military Academy I made Distinguished Honor Roll. As of right now, I'm leaning towards a major in biology.
Appearance and personal conduct is very important at Delaware Military Academy. We have to wear naval uniforms and are inspected each week. I've also completed over 30 hours of community services inside my school and the community. I would like to think of myself as a very mature and disciplined student, which I think carries over onto the softball field. I try to be a very vocal leader on my team and lead by example while also having fun.
