Outside of school and softball I play basketball in my Freshman and Sophomore year. I participate in Girl Scouts and my biggest accomplishment so far in Girl Scouts is earning my Silver Award, which requires 50 hours of community service in a specific project. Basketball helped makes me a better athlete and Girl Scouts helps me learn how to communicate with others. Both challenge me to succeed even when the task is difficult.
In college I want to earn a degree in a field that involves children. Some qualities that I have that will help me on the field are I’m coachable, respectful, a hard worker, and I’m a leader. I am a leader by helping my teammates when they are down or when they are having a hard time with a skill. Above everything else I want to play softball in college because I want the experience of playing at a high level and I love the game.
