Elizabeth Whidden '27 Recruiting Profile

If you’re looking for a well rounded team player, that is what I aspire to be. Catching is by far my passion but I play anywhere requested. I enjoy third base and even the challenges outfield brings me with the room to run and make long throws. I started playing softball around the age of 9 and my love for the sport, knowledge and team atmosphere grows deeper every year. I do my best academically and would like a career in the business and financial field but also consider engineering. I like to consider myself coachable, willing to learn, eager to please, but also competitive and strong willed. I bring a sense of playfulness and drive to my team generally falling into a mentoring and uplifting roll. I am 16 years old and believe I have a lot to learn from a solid start and continued growth.
