I'm constantly trying to grow and improve as a person, a student, and a softball player. Academics is my first priority and I pride myself on being an ambassador for my school. I represent my graduating class as the vice president and I'm also a member of the National Honor Society. I have currently maintained all "A's" during my time in high school. My goal is to maintain my 4.0 or better GPA and choose a college that I can pursue my degree of choice and play Division 1 softball. I volunteer on my off weekends at the City Rescue Mission and the local soup kitchen feeding the homeless. I believe that spending time helping others is the most rewarding feeling I have experienced aside from playing softball. On my softball teams I'm also known as the energizer bunny, the spark plug, and my travel ball coach says I'm the backbone of his team. I never take any plays off and I play for my sisters that are beside me on the field and in the dug-out. I'm constantly working to get better so that my team can be better. I always encourage and uplift my teammates, especially when they are down or make a mistake. I play with grit and passion, and as a great coach once told me, "it takes hard work and dedication to be the 1%". I strive to be the 1%!
