My name is Brianna. I am 16 years old. I have played softball since I was 8 years old.
When I started playing softball I got really into it. That was surprising because I went through sports like a kid goes through candy. The first 2 years were about me learning the aspects of the game. I played in little league for awhile. I had no idea about travel ball, because I was living in the small town of Sebastian fl. In 2011 we moved to Melbourne fl. I played little league for 2 years. Then my friend told me about travel ball. So I went home and did some research. I found the stealers 99.I played for the stealers for 3 years. They folded and ever since, I have been with CFG Elite 18u. We just won the Usssa fastpitch tournament 2015. We are going to Georiga for the triple crown tournament 2015. I played for my high school team for the past 2 years aswell. I was the starting second baseman on junior varsity for freshman and sophmore year. At the end of the jv season sophmore year, I got moved up and played on the varsity for the last 6 games. I knew from the time I played my 4th year of softball that I wanted to go some where far with it. I knew it was hard but that didnt stop me from trying. People have always told me no, and that I wouldnt make it. I want to proceed with softball because not only do I want to prove them wrong, but for myself. I am determined to do what I was always told I couldnt. I want to be able to look back and say wow, look how far I have come. Look at all of the obstacles that I have overcome to be where I am right now.
I have always gotten all A's and B's with the occasional C in school. I carry a 3.43- 4.0 gpa. School is my main focus. I want to become a pediatrician. I love to work with little kids. I have always wanted to be in the medical field because I love to help people. I have always had a dream of going to Florida State University, but I will go wherever life takes me.
