Hi, my name is McKenzie but I prefer to be called Kenzie and that's what everybody knows me as. I'm a 2028 Grad due to my late birthday in October so currently I'm just an 8th grader. However I've been playing Varsity HS ball since my 6th grade year and I'd say I've definitely held my own and progressed every single year. I've always primarily been a 1st baseman up until last Spring School season I was converted over to 3rd, at first I wasn't very happy with the position change but I've really grown to love the hot corner! I love the game of softball, I started playing when I was 9 and never looked back as i completely fell in love with the game and the relationships and bonds I've built through this sport. I work very hard on my hitting, usually hit off the tee atleast 5 days a week outside of my weekly lessons on Monday with my hitting coach Clete Thomas(he's the best and has helped my game grow tremendously)! I currently play at Deane Bozeman School on the Varsity team and I also play travel ball for Impact Gold FL 14U where I also start at 3rd base. I don't play any other sports as of yet but I think I will tryout for the volleyball team my 9th grade year and maybe weightlifting as well. I definitely plan to attend college after I graduate high school and my dream is to play softball at the next level in college, obviously D1 is the ultimate goal but as long as I'm playing somewhere and continuing my education that's all that really matters! I'm a hard worker, I'm very coachable, I'm a great teammate, I have a great IQ for the game, while I did have some issues with my grades last year I've been working really hard to keep A/B Honor Roll this year.
