Annalise Knop '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Annalise Knop and I am a 5’5”,  dedicated, hardworking  student and softball player.   My primary positions are pitcher and second base (right handed thrower).   My most important accomplishment is being nationally ranked  #124 by Extra Innings Softball as a player and #88 as a pitcher.  I am a location and spin pitcher who draws ground balls consistently. I am always seeking knowledge from coaches and those who have played the game to help me improve.  My new pitching coach, Megan Betsa, has helped me take my game to a new level and I know she has lots more to teach me.  

I take schoolwork  very seriously and maintain a 4.4 GPA while taking as many honors and AP courses as I am allowed. I am also involved in Chick- fil- A Leader Academy, Key Club, Beta Club, and I play tennis. My current class rank is #5. 

I feel like I would be a great asset to a college level team with my team first attitude and scholastic contributions. I am open to all college divisions, especially those who prefer student athletes who stay focused on excelling in the classroom.
