This year in my high school softball season my team made it to the region championship where we placed 2nd. Although we played a tough game for the region championship game we fell short. We lost by two points. That moment when I realized what was actually happening and the amount of people that were there to support us it made me realize how much I loved the game of softball. That game alone gave me more motivation to keep playing softball. My father once told me that you're going to win some and lose some and that statement has always stuck with me.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn and grow at every moment. I'm ready for the different challenges that come along with playing at the collegiate level. The game is only 90% mental and the other 10% percent is physical therefor anyone can have a bad attitude after a mistake but if you can shake it off and still have a great attitude you are learning something each and every day you step on the field.
