Hi, my name is Marina Forrester. I am in the graduating class of 2021. I am a catcher. I’ve been working hard at improving my softball skills to get to where I can play in college. I am currently attending a hybrid homeschool program, but I have been playing at the varsity level for three years now. I want to play in college because I love the game and the feeling of having a family with 13 sisters.
I would love the chance of just being on the team and experience something that I’ve always wanted. I am very encouraging, positive, and hard-working. I love helping others and being with kids. I have been a regular active volunteer with our church's children ministry for the past couple of years. I was also a volunteer at a homework help program for at-risk students in my 8th & 9th-grade year. I love being with my family, whether it is riding four wheelers, throwing the football with my dad, or wakeboarding on vacation. I am half Cuban because of my mom's side. My grandparents are proud Americans and have a very inspirational story of becoming American citizens. Both sides of my family are hard workers and have taught us to never give up on our dreams. I grew up with two older brothers who I've always looked up to. They have made me the athletic girl that I am and I can do many sports because of them. My love for helping others and having a servant's heart has led me to want to be a nurse or physical therapist when I get older.
