Personal Statement

I love the game. I love the adrenaline, the competition, the teamwork. I love the girls that I meet and make friends with and how we grow together. I like the feeling of family with my teammates and I love being able to tell them things. I love being on the field. I love hitting and running around the bases. I love making that catch or throwing that girl out. I love diving back and sliding in. I love cheering for my team and hearing them cheer for me. I love how we can keep our heads in and fight until the end. I love the laid back games and I love the nail biters. I love the feeling of success when I do something amazing or I finally get it after trying for a long time. I love how it feels like the rest of the world has gone away when I’m on that field. The game is the only thing that matters anymore. My team is the only thing that I need to worry about until after the game. I love beating my own records or discovering new things that I’m good at. This game makes me feel amazing and I just don’t think I’ll be ready to let it go after high school.
