Kelsey Taft '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always been a very athletic person, playing every sport my parents would allow me to.  Basketball and softball have been my two major sports. Softball however has a special place in my heart.   My old travel ball coach discovered me when I was about 7 years old at one of my recreational softball games and from there I fell in love with the game.  Softball has taught me how to be a team player, taught me leadership skills, and how to overcome adversity.  

I am a potential Honor Graduate at Coffee High School in Douglas, Georgia.  I plan on graduating with Honors and pursuing Sports Medicine in college.  I practice the same dedication and hard work in the classroom as I do on the softball field.

I feel like I would be a great asset to a college softball program not only for the skills I possess, but for the energy I can bring to a team.   My love for the game and dedication to my team shows every time I step on the field.  I know I have what it takes to be an impact player at the collegiate level and I hope to get the opportunity to showcase my skills.
