Softball has affected my life, and has significantly influenced the person I am today! I first became interested in softball at the age of nine when my brother started to play baseball. My life has never been the same since and I am so very grateful for that. This sport has allowed for me to learn things about myself that I would have never learned if it wasn’t for softball. Softball has shown me that I can be competitive, emotional, hardworking, and passionate. These characteristics constantly help me not only improve my game of softball, but in everyday life as well. For example, softball has helped me become a harder worker in school! I am apart of my high schools softball team, beta club, and the student government association. I aspire to continue my path of education as a business major in college as well as be apart of a successful softball team. All in all, softball has significantly shaped the person I am today!
