Asa-Praise Kalalau '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello  Coaches, 

       My name is Asa-Praise Kalalau and I attend Hana High School on Maui, Hawai'i; I'm in the class of 2024. I'm interested in playing softball on the next level, while looking for someone to help me get there. I have played many sports, but have never fallen in love with one until now. Softball has been the sport where I pushed myself to improve every second. It's been filled with plenty of trials and challenges that have made me who I am today, but has inspired me to want take it further. One thing I love about softball is the feeling of being able to step on and off the field; it's like a switch that can go on and off. Where I feel such excitement and adrenaline, hearing the cheers from family, and being able to work hard with a team who has the same 'hunger' as you. Softball has made me think everyday..."How can I be better? How can I improve? What do I do differently the next time?".  I love that it tends to challenge you mentally and physically, but provides the environment where you can overcome all. Giving me a chance in taking the next step is all I'm asking for. I will show you why you should consider having me play for you and provide the reasons you need to see how determined I am to take the next level on.
