Aloha Coaches. My name is Kiana Arcayena, Class of 2018. I’ve just completed my third quarter of my Junior year and my current GPA is 4.1 and I will be raising it as I have 2 AP classes during the 2nd Semester and currently have an A in both of the AP classes. I am a student first, then an athlete. Additionally, I am involved in multiple leadership and community service organizations, including working at the Castle Medical Hospital 12 hours/month, Hawaiian Humane Society 10 hours/month, serving at my church 8 hours/month, Special Olympics Hawaii on special event days throughout the year, Leadership role for Catholic Charities Hawaii 10 hours/month, just to name a few. I also compete at the Varsity level for competitive Canoe Paddling for my school during the Winter Season. As a softball player, my main position is catcher, however, I can play ANYWHERE my team needs me. I play both Right and Left field as well as 1st and 2nd base for my High School and Club teams. I am ecstatic to let you know that I have lowered my pop-time down to 1.68 seconds. My skills video has been linked below for your viewing pleasure. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you Coach!
