Hi coaches,
My name is Kaitlyn Miyasato and I attend Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawai’i. I am in the graduating class of 2023 and I primarily play outfield. I would be so grateful to play softball at the next level. My favorite thing about softball is that it’s a game of failure. There have been many times that I’ve been knocked down by this sport, both physically and mentally. However, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. All that my successes, failures, and obstacles have taught me is how to persevere and become better than I was before. There is always room for improvement no matter how experienced you might be. Not only do I want to continue to push myself in college in athletics and academics but I also want to repay both myself and my parents for the past 9 years that I have been playing softball. I would not be where I am without the help and guidance of my parents, coaches, and teammates. I look forward to the opportunity to make the most of all that I’ve learned all these years from playing and enjoying the game of softball.
Thank you for your time,
Kaitlyn
