I am extremely happy with how I was able to play with a great bunch of girls, for my first season in high school. As our school is known as the underdogs we have everyone an eye opener this past season. Throughout my high school season I learned many lessons such as what the term "working as a team" really means.
In my life I've grown much faster than normal. This is because as a young child my brother and I had it rough our parents were still trying to get their own lives together. They weren't fit to raise us. One time things got so bad my brother and I were on our own I took care of my brother and I, this is when we were taken in by my grandparents. Through softball I've learned that I'm a very willing person. Meaning I am open to new and different ideas. I will admit I chose softball by default because I couldn't play baseball. But soon I realized it made me feel like I could let loose and I soon found passion for the game. My goal for high school is to get good grades and hopefully try to get a 4.0 or higher. For college I'd like to get amazing grades as well and keep up with everything.
