Personal Statement

Thank you for viewing my profile.

I currently play club for Crossfire Dwyer, one of the top clubs in the country. In addition, this spring in high school ball, I was named an all-state (second team) and all-conference pitcher, and my team took fourth place in the state tournament -- in the state's highest conference.

On top of softball, what’s equally important to me is academics. I currently have a 4.222 weighted GPA (class rank 10 of 424). I also have a full plate outside of school. I have conducted two research projects, one with a professor of international relations (what I plan to study in college) from Johns Hopkins on international law and pandemic response. One of these papers has already been approved for publishing by an academic journal, and the second is currently in review for publishing.

in addition, I launched an initiative to advance mental health in women's sports called The Iron Butterfly, which has reached a potential audience of 50M people with news coverage in the Associated Press, Yahoo Sports, and 250 other publications worldwide. I also had a summer internship in Washington DC at an organization dedicated to the Foreign Service, and my mock trial team took fourth place in state this year.

I would love to hear from you!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
