My name is Gina Dudley, I currently attend Capital High School. I play two sports for Capital which are basketball and tennis. In the 2017-2018 season I won state as a freshman in tennis. During my season I only lost one match in the finals of the Capital Classic Invitational. I am a leader on and off the court and I value sportsmanship as an important part of the game.
I am able to maintain a 3.9-4.0 GPA while working at Delsas Ice cream Parlor 3-4 times a week, playing tennis and playing basketball. I work hard and stay focused to make sure I can give 100 percent to everything I do. I am a member of Capital High School's student council and have received many awards regarding my academics including: Presidential award, GPA award and Algebra 2 student of the year.
I understand how important school and sports are and how finding the correct balance is the right thing to do. I know and understand how important it is to get great grades, but also maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I have attended a student leader summit in order to improve not only my individual leadership skills but my skills to work in a team while benefiting it. In conclusion, I will work hard academically and as an athlete in collegiate tennis.
