Naomi Butterfield '20 Recruiting Profile

You may have heard the saying, "to some, softball is just a game, but to me it's life", and I promise those words ring more truth in my life than most may understand. My name is Naomi Butterfield. I am an 9th grader at Les Bois Junior High where I push myself academically in advanced classes in hopes of preparing myself for college and beyond. Although academics are extremely important to me, I must say that I usually cannot wait to hear the last bell of the day that signals me to go home and gear up for the game that I love. Passion is defined as "a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept" and without this passion and dedication to softball, my talent would fall short. My desire to climb to new heights and get to new levels is fueled by my passion which is constantly pushing me harder and further, and with hard word, dedication, and a team who always has my back, I will achieve my goal and make it to the next level.
