When I started playing softball I was 6 and boy I did not wanna play. My dad told me to play one year and if I did not like it I would not have to play the next year. I went out for that year and loved every second of it. I've been playing for about 10 years now and I can say that I have improved by an extreme amount. I have always loved the feeling of a good hit, sliding, diving to get fly ball and watching my teammates grow and succeed. I love being on a team that loves to be around each other and that has lots of fun. But to me the best part over the many years of playing is watching myself grow as an athlete. Over the years I have learned to a versatile player so that I can help my team in anyway I can. One thing I can not do is pitch though. One goal for me that I have always had is to be better than I was yesterday. I think I would be a good candidate to be on a team because I always strive to push my teammates to make them better and love to hear different coaches opinions on different things that help me. I always strive to get good grades so I can play the sports I want to. That is why I would love to continue my softball career through college.
