Sophia Garza '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophia Garza I am currently 17 years old and have been playing softball since I was 6. Not only has softball become a passion of mine it has taught me countless life lessons. I have learned about teamwork, how to be a leader, and how to recover from failure. All of what softball has taught me I have been able to translate into real life situations. Catching has always been a love of mine because of the feeling of being a leader and always being apart of every play. Academically I have a 3.7 GPA, I am on honor roll, and apart of the Dual Language Program. I am involved in Key Club, Student Voice Club, and Best Buddies Club. I would like to play softball at the collegiate level to better myself as a player and a person through hard work, meeting new people, and the numerous opportunities being a student athlete has to offer.
