Passion, hard work, and dedication represent everything I do in life. I have always been diligent when it comes to my schoolwork and my athletic achievements. I have always maintained a high GPA no matter the level of the class. I have always tried my best to reach my full potential as a student athlete as it allows me to stay eligible on the field and set an example for my teammates as a team leader. I see my college years as a period of growth and to hopefully be molded into a well rounded individual. My main goal is to major in Nursing as it will place me in the medical field and go on to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Sports have always been apart of my life ever since I learned how to walk. I was always fascinated with trying new things and loved the sense of competition. Growing up I've been involved in dance, tee-ball, tennis, soccer, basketball, and softball. However, I've always been passionate about softball. It's a game that I love to play and a game that I excel at playing. I started playing softball at the age of 11 and played first base and third base. At 13, I stopped playing third and first base became my primary spot. Overtime, I focused more on my hitting techniques as I wanted to become a better hitter, especially for travel ball.
As a captain, I take great pride in being a team leader. I take full responsibility for my strengths and weaknesses and try to encourage my teammates as much as possible. I prepare for the best and have a winning attitude. Winning is just a part of who I am. Given this opportunity to continue my passion for school and for softball would truly be an amazing experience
