My first goal in college is to obtain a degree in Sports Management. My second goal, is to continue playing softball. I have been playing softball since I was five years old. I love the game of softball, the friends I have met through the years and my coaches. Coaches have described me as hard working, a fierce competitor, mentally tough , a great teammate and fun. I also have been acknowledged as a team leader and one to turn to for a smile or laugh when things are down. I am currently a member of the varsity softball team and varsity basketball team at my high school. What sets me apart from others is that I am not about me. I will do whatever I need to do for my team; whether it be playing a different position, sacrificing my at bat or getting the 5th foul in a close "we need to foul kind of moment" in my basketball game. I do not worry about my stats, just focus on playing for a win and being a good teammate. I have done a pretty good job of balancing my school work and my extra curricular activities.
